In this DVD, Cris Robson shows his techniques for creating thefamous ED209 robot from the film. Robocop in 3ds Max, first as a scaffold, then as a high polygon detailed model which is finally optimized and un-wrapped and normal mapped into a sub 10,000 polygon game asset in Unreal Tournament 3.
Red then takes this low polygon textured model and imports it into the UT3 engine as an animated and rigged game asset. A small level is then built to show how it interacts with this environment.
